The Federal University Dutsinma has appointed Professor Aminu Ado as its Acting Vice Chancellor, following the departure of Professor Armaya'u Hamisu Bichi, whose tenure has ended. According to a statement by the university's Director of Information and Protocol, Nasiu Abdul, Ado's appointment followed due process and the university's rules.

The university's governing council has announced Ado's appointment, and the outgoing Vice Chancellor, Bichi, was honored by both the Muslim and Christian communities on campus. Bichi expressed gratitude for the recognition and urged the communities to extend their support to his successor.

In his parting words, Bichi, represented by Prof. Alexander Bem Adi, charged the Christian community, particularly the students, to be good ambassadors of the university and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria's growth and development.
