The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has successfully produced 9,924 student entrepreneurs through its Innovative Skills Pioneering Entrepreneurship Scheme (U-Inspire). The maiden graduation ceremony was held at the university, marking a significant milestone in the institution's commitment to equipping students with practical skills alongside academic studies.

U-Inspire aims to complement traditional learning with digital and entrepreneurial competencies.

45 ambassadors were selected from nine partner organizations.

The programme covered three core areas: Leadership and Personal Development, Graphic Design, and Web Development.

The purpose of entrepreneurship is to enjoy yourself, solve the world's problems, and make a profit." - Professor Wahab Egbewole, Vice-Chancellor, UNILORIN.

AWARDS

Team MCGeorge Consulting Limited emerged first, receiving ₦550,000.

Team HR Square Concept and Team Groom 2Lead Integrated Services took second and third places, earning ₦350,000 and ₦250,000 respectively.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, the arrests were made following allegations of disruption of public peace and unlawful assembly during protests related to the strike. The Commissioner of Police stated that the command is committed to maintaining law and order and will ensure that all parties operate within the confines of the law.
